Torresco Realty was engaged as the exclusive broker for the contract vendee after selling the portfolio package consisting of 2205/2209/2211 Third Avenue to the current vendee earlier in 2003. The intense interest expressed by the real estate community created this re-sale. During the primary contract term, New York City Planning Board announced “up-zoning” from C44 to R8A allowing new construction of up to twelve stories and thus created a market fervor and this “flip” re-sale.
In 2009, Torresco’s buyer, now new owner/developer, broke ground to build a twelve story - 64 unit building which emanated from the assemblage sold by Torresco Realty in 2003.
Torresco Realty LLC was the sole broker in this transaction.
